Hi! Thank you for spending time here today. I'm Donna Rothman and among a lot of life-learnings, I hold a Ph.D. and Doctorate in Natural Medicine. Certifications as a Holistic Health Coach, Feng Shui Consultant, Home Organizer, Stager, Redesign Specialist, as well as a Custom Closet Designer. Prior to all of that I spent two decades with a consulting firm in many roles implementing methodologies of breakthrough-thinking to Fortune 100 organizations. I truly believe life is about learning and developing.
I remember being a teenager, going through all those emotions of trying to fit in. Worrying about pimples, or not feeling comfortable in my clothes and trying to figure it all out. My refuge was going to the library...there was no internet back then! I would find psychology books since I don't recall there being a self help section. I would find stories of similar struggles people were conflicted with and wanted to know how they moved on from their conflict. I am still a believer that you are not stuck with anything. There are always multiple choices and sometimes you just have to have the resilience to find them or get help to discover them.
My path to becoming a Holistic Health practitioner started with a Thyroid issue that I felt left with no choices. So I sought out a nutritionist and an iridologist, (by the way, we can add iridology to my list of education too) and 6 months later my Thyroid issue was healed!
My philosophy, "I will find a way, or make one!"
Through my studies and learning that there is no one diet for everyone, I felt compelled to understand what makes the body vital and alive. That lead me to my PhD study of "Cellular Vitality" A conscious choice vs unconscious habits. In 6-weeks the participants in my dissertation program altered their blood tests!
In my practice I identified a common issue of disconnect between individuals' desire to lead healthier lifestyles and the challenge of incorporating new habits into their homes and routines. This challenge often becomes overwhelming for many.
I understand that our habits are not easily changed, and this is not our fault. Our brains are wired to resist change.
Therefore, I believe that it is essential for one's home to align with their new healthy habits. This is why I focus not only on individuals' health, but also on their home systems and possible clutter, unconsciously effecting our health and vitality. When you have an uncluttered space, colors and furniture flow that resonate with you-that alters how you feel.
Unconsciously, people get into habits that prevent them from noticing the energy that is draining them. By identifying and changing habits, individuals will find it easier to see and feel what has been draining them.
I would like to share some of my significant achievements and educational accomplishments throughout my career. Can you connect the dots! LOL!
I have earned several certifications and completed courses such as:
